Depending on the status of your machine, the process may take approximately 10 to 20 minutes.
¶ Steps to take
⚠️ The air assist function cannot auto-toggle by layer, but it can be temporarily disabled in software.
To disable the air assist function while engraving, you can follow these steps:
- For RDWorks: Open RDWorks → Vendor Settings → Password: RD8888 → Uncheck ✅ Enable Blower (picture left).
- For LightBurn: Open LightBurn → Vendor Settings → Change Enable air-assist output to False (picture right).
⚠️ Turning the air assist off ALSO cuts power to the exhaust fan. To maintain proper smoke ventilation, plug the fan directly into a wall outlet.
