This article aims to address the issue that the driver does not light up, and is suitable for the following models:
✅ Maker Series
✅ Pronto Series
It may take about 10 minutes to complete the process, and the required tools are:
✅ Multimeter
✅ Screwdriver
⚠️ The indicator in the X or Y axis driver does NOT light up.
1. Check the status of the switch power supply indicator.
- ❌ Not light ➡️ Troubleshoot here.
- ✅ Light bright → Measure the supply voltage to the driver: video tutorial.
- Case 1: ✅ Normal voltage 24V ➡️ Replace the driver.
- Case 2: ❌ NOT 24V → Process to Step 2 👇.
2. Isolate the switch power supply and re-measure.
- Disconnect all loads from the low-voltage power supply.
- Re-measure the output voltage of the low-voltage power supply.
- Measurement Result 1: ❌ Still abnormal voltage ➡️ Replace the 24V power supply.
- Measurement Result 2: ✅ Voltage restored: A connected accessory is short-circuiting! ➡️ Reconnect the accessories one by one to locate the faulty part.
