The process typically takes approximately 10 minutes.
¶ Purpose of the Test
The ceramic resistor test is NOT required upon first receiving the machine. Perform this test only when the machine is malfunctioning, and the root cause is unknown. The test helps determine whether the fault originates from the laser power supply.
The ceramic resistor (as shown below) is usually included in the machine’s accessory bag.

While performing the test, we recommend following these safety instructions:
- Wear rubber-soled shoes, such as tennis shoes.
- Stand a few feet away and keep one hand securely in your pocket.
